Work in Romania
Introduction
Romania is one of the fastest growing economies in Eastern Europe with a high demand for
foreign workers in construction, manufacturing, agriculture, hospitality, transport, IT and
healthcare. To work legally in Romania, foreign nationals must acquire a work permit issued by
the Romanian employer, followed by a long-stay work visa.
Types of Work Permits in Romania
- General Employment Permit – for skilled and semi-skilled employees.
- Seasonal Worker Permit – for temporary jobs in agriculture, tourism and hospitality.

How to Apply?
